99-06 GM full size console lid

Move both seats back as far as they will go.Recline both seats completely.Pull the flap on the passenger side to expose 2 10 mm bolts. Remove the 2 10mm bolts. Remove the 40 mm torx head bolt on the drivers side. Remove the complete lid assembly from the truck or suv . Push the hinge pin out either side with a punch. Remove the old lid including springs and hinge pin. Install 2 springs in the lid with the springs angle side into the side on the lid. Line the hinge up and incest the springs in the holes on the bottom storage compartment. Push the hinge pin through the lid and springs.Make sure the lid opens and closes. Install the interior liner pane. Reinstall the lid assembly in the suv.
